Trojan Remover has been written to facilitate the removal of Trojans and Internet worms when standard anti-virus software has failed to detect the problem or is unable to effectively remove it.
Trojan Remover was written for Windows 95/98 / NT / Millennium / XP. It has been used successfully by Windows 2000 users, although this platform has not been officially tested.
The majority of virus and Trojan scanners are able to detect Trojan horses and malicious Internet worms, but are not always effective at removing them once they have been triggered.
Trojan Remover was written specifically to perform such removal without the user having to manually edit the system files, including the registry. The program also deletes additional system changes that some Trojans perform that are ignored by other virus and Trojan scanners.
What's New:
- Added routines to restore disabled security services.
- Added compatibility for Windows 8.1.
