Media presence at Kitzhaber house attracts delegates
PORTLAND - reporters who are camped Governor John Kitzhaber outside the home of competitive Oregon were joined by representatives from the Office of the Washington County Sheriff.
Oregon State Police provides security for Kitzhaber, but sheriff's Sgt. Bob Ray says the agency asked additional help by the large media presence.
Ray says soldiers wanted to make sure that they come and go freely from home of the Governor in southwest Portland.
Four vehicles sheriff stationed in the area, but Ray says no problems expected.
Kitzhaber is under pressure to resign scandal surrounding the work of his fiancée as a consultant due to interference.
