The Bengals did not have a lot of chances, but A..J. Green gave them a late.
The only problem was to give DeMarco Murray another opportunity.
Murray grabbed the winning touchdown pass with 36 seconds left in the game, propelling the Titans to a 24-20 win over the Bengals.
It was his third touchdown of the day after racing for two, but the best of the day because of the timing.
The Bengals were lifeless for much of the day, but they took the lead late with a 70-yard touchdown touched by a wide reception A.J. Green . But the Titans reacted with a 12-match, 68-yard drive to seal things up.
Tennessee (6-3) controlled the action for most of the day and maintained a huge 84-50 advantage in offensive games while rolling 416 yards.
The Bengals had only 39 yards in the second half before the Green touchdown, and although they ended up with 308 yards cosmetic, it was not that close.
Victory keeps the Titans at the top of AFC South, while the Bengals have now lost three of their last four games to fall to 3-6.
Of course, they have other worries to be made, because linebacker Vontzae Burfict was sent off for hitting an official, and the cornerback Adam Jones left the game with a concussion brain.
