Fortnite season 4 has arrived and the comet's long-standing mystery is finally revealed.
The Fortnite patch v4.0 has a lot of changes, but it all starts with the comet slamming the map and changing the landscape. Several sites have been transformed by the impact including Dusty Depot (now known as Dusty Divot). Visit the main impact crater and you will discover Hop Rocks, a new object that defies gravity and allows you to jump higher for a limited time.
Epic patch notes also reveal that the crossbow has been removed from the game. In addition, you will find many gameplay changes such as the ability to destroy structures on the island. (not the Battle Bus), slightly reduced hitbox sizes for players' hands and the 4: 3 format.
Be sure to check Epic's changelog as it barely scratches the surface of the new features and bug fixes introduced.
There is also the season-themed Super Season Battle Pass that starts at 950 V-Bucks, the Epic game currency (the equivalent of about $ 10). The Battle Pass offers 100 levels of rewards, including various cosmetic items, emotes and sprays. Most of it can be unlocked by increasing and completing challenges, but if you wish, you can shell out extra money and speed your way to the goodies.
By all indications, it seems that Epic still has another solid update that will keep players coming back for more.
