Most TVs sold these days have built-in smart capabilities. Integrated audio solutions, however, generally leave something to be desired, which is why sound bars have become increasingly popular in recent years.
JBL 's latest audio bar, in fact, kills two birds at once, as it offers an improved audio solution in a package that also includes Google knowledge.
The JBL link bar is touted as the industry's first sound bar powered by Android TV with the built-in Google wizard. Just say "Hey Google" to start hands-free programming via Android TV.
As seen in the press photos, the soundbar offers four HDMI ports as well as Ethernet, a 3.5mm jack and more with control buttons for things like volume on the top. Unfortunately, detailed specifications have not been provided.
This is not the first time that Google and JBL have been collaborating since the JBL Link 10, 20, 300 and 500 models already include the Google Assistant, just like Link View and JBL Everest 710GA headsets, Everest 310GA and Everest 110GA that have been announced at CES.
Prices and availability on the soundbar JBL Link Bar will be revealed later this year, we are told. Maybe later, they mean this week to Google I / O?
