Sony "in a rare break with tradition" Friday gave a glimpse of what fans can expect from its showcase E3 2018.
Shawn Layden, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment America and President of SIE Worldwide Studios, said that PlayStation Worldwide Studios will focus on four upcoming headlines: Kojima Productions' Death Stranding, Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Share of Naughty Dog. II and Spider-Man of Marvel.
Layden said that the storefront will also feature third-party publisher ads and independent developers, but did not give details.
What you will not see at the E3 2018, however, is new material. Layden confirmed it during a recent episode of the PlayStation blog, claiming that Sony would instead focus on the content of this year's event. Sorry, you'll have to wait a little longer to get official information about the PlayStation 5 or an updated PlayStation VR headset.
