If the same question to Cylvia Hayes, Kitzhaber fiance and Oregon First Lady, another answer asked: majority, 54%, believe that they broke the law; another 28% say they unethical, but not illegal.
The crosstabs for this poll are brutal. More than 60% of voters 35 and older think should resign Kitzhaber, as well as 61% of independents. Democrats will not agree, but only 52/44, not just a strong vote of confidence in their top office holders. Also in Portland, 56% of respondents think Kitzhaber should beat the street, while only 48% of self-described liberals nationwide that he should remain - and 44% want from him.
Kitzhaber has only one piece left. The only tension is when he goes to realize it.
