Best suncreams for children ! Good and cheap
Especially for tender baby and children's skin is a good sun protection very important in the summer, since the skin of children their protection against harmful UV radiation must still develop. The tests of different suncreams and sunsprays for children in recent years have shown again and again that good protection does not have to be expensive .
Discounter products and drugstore proprietary brands often cost just as
good or even better than expensive sunscreens for children from the
pharmacy.
We have summarized the results of the most up-to-date sun cream tests from the Stiftung Warentest and the latest test of the Öko-Tes t.
Here you will learn which sunscreen for children is good and
recommendable - and which in the test were only evaluated with
inadequate:
Sun cream for children in the test of the eco-test (6/2015)
The consumption magazine Öko-Test has examined the sunscreen for children in issue 6/2015. A total of 23 products were tested. In the test of children's suncream the eco-test, there was plenty of light and only little shade. Of the 23 tested products, the score was 17 or better. However, three products were also "deficient", one even "inadequate".
For the first time, the Öko-Test included in its judgment the use of anti-inflammatory substances in its judgment. Substances like Aloe Vera or Calendula are not bad for the skin. The problem is, however, that they can push the skin reddening with a sunglass. For example, no reddening of the skin occurs after the protective effect has elapsed, without which a sock is prevented.
In addition, the eco-test tested the sunscreen for children on PEG
derivatives, organohalogen compounds and paraffins as well as petroleum
products and silicones.
The results: these suncreams are good
This does not necessarily mean expensive is also evident in this test. All the cheap products, including the discounter, at least reach the judgment "satisfactory". Also the test winner of Alverde is still one of the most favorable products.

Sun cream for children in the test of Stiftung Warentest 2014
In the July 2014 edition, Stiftung Warentest tests 19 different suncreams for children . Examinations were conducted with high to very high protection.
The products ranged from 2 euros to 23.20 euros per 100ml. 10 of the
tested creams cut with a "good", including some of the best products. The Sun Kids nurturing Sonnenmilch from Nivea is in the test with the note 1.9 in front. Another seven preservatives received from the testers a "good" - however, four of the agents were not water resistant.

Among the "well tested " sun protection products was the Sonnenschutzmilch for children of Ladival , the Sonnenspray Cien Sun from Lidl, but also the Sonnenmilch from Rossmann and the Kids Sonnenspray Sun Dance from dm .
For example, the cream from dm Alverde Sonnenmichel children
Sonnenbalsam Bio as well as the Bübchen Sensitive sun lotion for
sensitive baby skin and the Lavera Baby & Kinder Sonnencreme Bio
received a "satisfying".

The manufacturers Ream and Avène received in the test only a deficient . The loser in the test is the Ream Suncare cream because it can not meet the UVA and UVB protection promised on the packaging. In addition, the cream is so tough when applied that it can be distributed very poorly. You can buy the Ream Suncare cream, for example, in Kaufland or Mae Geiz stores. Avène's protective product also does not provide sufficient protection against UVA protection. The UVA radiation is responsible for early skin aging and wrinkling.
Avène relies on the filter substance titanium dioxide, a proven product
from natural cosmetics, which does not achieve the specified UVA
protection with the Avène cream.

Older Tests Sonnencremes für Kinder: Stiftung Warentest - Tests from June 2010 and July 2011
(July 2011) The Foundation Warentest tested sun protection products in its July 2011 issue. This year, suncreams were tested for adults, a special test with suncream and sunsprays for children were only available last year in the Foundation Warentest 7/2010 .
So that the many good hints and experiences in the comments are not
lost, I have updated the sun cream test from the previous year and
supplemented, most of the tested suncreams are still available in the
trade.

We have now tried the third sun cream for our 18 month old son, of 2
products he immediately got a red rash - a good and tolerable suncream
to be found, is not easy - that it is not only us so, show your many

The selection is large and the price differences between suncreams, for
example, from the pharmacy and the discounter are extreme. Per 100 ml sun cream for children you can spend 1.20 Euro (ALDI Süd) or 21.00 Euro (Ultrasun).
The good news from the current sunscreen test:
- 12 of 20 tested sunscreen agents are good
- Among the best sun creams are very cheap from drugstores and discounters
- The most expensive are not the best

Well-tested and at the same time favorable products belong to these suncreams for children:
- Dm Sun Dance Kids Sonnenmilch LSF 30 ( dm ), approx. 3,95 Euro
- Alando Sun Sonnenspray SPF 30 ( your place ), approx. 3,90 Euro
- Cadeavera Sun Sonnenmilch for children SPF 30, ( Müller ), approx. 2,65 Euro
- Cien Sonnenspray for children SPF 30 ( Lidl ), approx. 5,00 Euro
- Ombia Sun Sonnenmilch Kids, ( ALDI South ), about 2,99 Euro
- Barbuda Sun Kids sunspray, ( Norma ) SPF 30, about 5.00 Euro
- Bübchen Sonnenmilch, SPF 30, ca, 5,95
All the products mentioned are among the best sun protection products
for children in the test with the test part "good" - a very good was not
awarded.
The ALDI Nord Sonnenmilch Ombra Sun Care for children is recipe-oriented with the "good" Ombia Sonnenmilch Kids at ALDI Süd. The ALDI Nord Ombra Sun Sonnenspray
for children, on the other hand, received only a satisfactory result -
the devaluation was mainly due to the lack of water resistance, light
protection factor and UVB / UVA ratio.
Sensitive skin
It is good to know, however, that you do not have to pay for baby suncream prices. However, the test helps us with our rash problem also not as far as I had hoped.
Suncreams contain all possible ingredients, perfumes, nanoparticles,
etc. - for example, we used the "good" ALDI Süd Sonnenmilch and still
our children got skin irritations. For children with sensitive skin you may have to try something here, maybe the pediatrician can recommend something.
Gratisproben suncream for children?
The consultation in the pharmacy ends with my experience so far in the recommendation of the 20 Euro sun cream. As soon as one says something about child and sensitive skin, the pharmacists are flashing the euro signs in their eyes.
Despite or because of the high price, there are usually not even
samples in pharmacies, so you often have to buy the cat in a sack. Since it is already worth it, simply the above mentioned cheap house brands of the drugstores and discounter durchzuprobieren.

What light protection factor?
Very high light protection factors SPF 50+ have to be only in very
light-skinned children, all others are well protected with SPF 30.
Water resistant?
No matter whether water-resistant or not, after bathing you should re-cream. "Waterproof" means that a sunscreen after half an hours of bathing is half the specified light protection factor. Many suncreams do not.
