Quarterback titans Marcus Mariota spent a busy day against the Bengals on Sunday and he emerged from the effort with some pains.
Head coach Mike Mularkey said on Monday that Mariota had a shoulder pain and a slight sprained ankle after Tennessee's 24-20 win over Cincinnati. Both body parts were widely used on Sunday as Mariota completed 25 of her 44 passes for 264 yards, ran six times for 51 yards and received four sacks.
The Titans will play Thursday, which could be problematic if one or the other of the wounds proves significant. Mularkey said he was expecting Mariota to be ready to face the Steelers, and the team will release his first injury report of the week later Monday.
Striker Delanie Walker is also expected to play despite a wrist injury and Mularkey said the left guard Quinton Spain may be able to continue after missing the last two games.
