All platforms are 100% feature-rich and feature rich, regardless of the platform used, all new features will be available on all platforms as of TeamSpeak 3 release date.
Our engineers have rewritten the code from the beginning using C ++ to improve TeamSpeak performance and compatibility. This allows the native binaries of TeamSpeak 3 to be built from the same code base for various target operating systems.
TeamSpeak 3 also includes a robust multi-platform SDK that allows for full voice integration into existing products or services, including online games, virtual worlds, educational programs, military simulators, and more. any other user application requires clear and simultaneous voice communication.
Improvement of voice quality and latency
The quality of TeamSpeak 3's voice is truly revolutionary. Featuring entirely new codecs, an automatic microphone tuning, an advanced noise reduction and an echo cancellation, TeamSpeak 3 offers only the best quality of voice communication. Users can finally say goodbye to echo, feedback and background noise as the evolution of quality voice communication has arrived. In addition, we have significantly reduced latency (the amount of time your voice "hears" from the other side) compared to TeamSpeak 2 and other voice communication software solutions.
Raising the Bar
TeamSpeak 3 was designed with advanced equipment in mind. Thus, it will benefit from full support for Logitech® latest G-keys in addition to other currently unannounced hardware manufacturers.
It is also possible to connect to multiple servers at once using "tabs" similar to those of most web browsers. You can now administer or participate in multiple TeamSpeak 3 servers at the same time. In addition, support for multiple devices and audio outputs on simultaneously connected servers is also available. Preferred servers are now stored as bookmarks, similar to your favorite web browser.
Beautiful 3D sound effects
TeamSpeak 3 now features a fully integrated 3D sound support that allows spatial placement of sound effects and audio streams. This creates the illusion of a sound source placed anywhere in a three-dimensional space, including behind, to the left, to the right, above or below the listener. The possibilities and applications of 3D sound are virtually infinite with TeamSpeak 3. Other TeamSpeak users can be virtually placed around your own audible position. Place conference hosts in front of participants or teammates around your own player position. No special equipment is needed. Just use your headphones or 5.1 / 7.1 speakers to enjoy the surround sound.
Powerful Authorization System
The TeamSpeak 3 server has a fully tiered and fully revised permissions system, with the ability to dynamically create, set, and apply group permissions as needed. This provides server administrators with superior control and effective tools for managing and building social networks.
Improved Security and Confidentiality
TeamSpeak 3 introduces a new authentication system. Instead of using a combination of username and password, the TeamSpeak 3 client creates unique identities that are stored and tracked by each TeamSpeak 3 server to which you connect. For administrators, this eliminates the need to manually register a user name and password with the server and allows administrators to assign a set of permissions to your identity that can be automatically called back by the server each time you log in. The end result is enhanced security and improved administration with eliminated username and password issues, making the user administration process much more time consuming than ever before.
Friends and enemies
Follow your friends (and enemies) through the brand new TeamSpeak 3 Friends / Enemies list. When a friend or an enemy is added, the TeamSpeak 3 client remembers the unique identity of your friend or your enemy, that they have changed display or nickname and whatever server you are connected to. TeamSpeak 3 allows you to assign a custom nickname to your friends and play a custom sound event when your friends are online. TeamSpeak 3 also tracks the date of the last meeting of your friends / enemies and allows you to mute or ignore your enemies permanently.
Friendly file transfer of firewall
Maximize your online collaboration experience with TeamSpeak 3's new file transfer capabilities. Depending on your permissions, users can download or recursively download files by channel or in a common folder tree. All files are stored directly on the TeamSpeak 3 server. Users no longer need to worry about FTP setup or confusion with complex firewall or other problems file sharing solutions. TeamSpeak 3 makes it easy to share files.
Improved Licensing System
