We have already seen any preliminary specifications for Nvidia's GTX 1180 leak online. Now, more apparent details have been posted in the TechPowerUp GPU database. While the data comes from an engineering sample and some specifications may change in the final model, the appearance of the list suggests that the highly anticipated card could be here sooner rather than later.

Some of the specifications appeared in previous leaks, including the use of TSMC's FinFET 12nm process, 3584 CUDA cores, 224 texture mapping units, and 64 ROPs. While it had been reported that the GTX 1180 would present "8-16 GB" of DDR6 memory, the entry lists it as 16GB. In addition, the memory bandwidth is displayed at 384 GB / s, while the rumor says that it is 512 GB / s.

We also see the thermal design power (TDP) of the next card rated at 200W, a little more than the 180W of the GTX 1080 but less than the 250W of the 1080 Ti. The base clock of the GPU is listed as 1405 MHz while the base clock is 1582 MHz.

"As a dual-slot card, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1180 is powered by 1x 6-pin + 1x 8-pin power connectors, with a maximum power consumption of 200 W. Display outputs include: 1x HDMI, 3x DisplayPort The GeForce GTX 1180 is connected to the rest of the system with the help of a PCIe 3.0 x 16 interface. The card measures 267 mm in length and has a cooling solution to two locations, "reads in the entry of the database.

Perhaps the most interesting specification is the 11 teraflop performance of 1180, which puts it ahead of the 1080Ti (11.4 TFLOPS) and even the Titan Xp (12.1 TFLOPS).

Strangely, the entry has the GTX 1180 down as a variant of the Volta architecture of Nvidia instead of Turing, which is what previous leaks have shown, although the only thing that has happened is that it is not possible. it is suspected that it is an error.

Rumors say that the GTX 1180 could be launched as early as July or August, suggesting that an unveiling at Computex might not be out of the question. Regarding the price, we expect between 699 and 799 dollars. This seems relatively cheap, but it could be due to the drop in GPU demand from cryptographic farm operators.
