Highly anticipated: Brutal four-player co-op arrives on PS4, XB1 and PC with The Overkill's The Walking Dead. Each playable character has unique abilities to use in combat and basic construction. These skills will probably be revealed during E3.

The Overkill Walking Dead will have nothing to do with the AMC's zombie series. In fact, pretty much the only thing other than the zombies that they share in common are both based on Robert Kirkman's cartoon - Tony Moore published by Image Comics.

The Overkill Walking Dead is a collaborative effort between developers Overkill (Payday) and Starbreeze Studios (Riddick Chronicles: Escape From Butcher's Bay) and organized by entertainment company Kirkbound Skybound. It is billed as a first-person cooperative shooter with four players. As such, it will have four unique playable characters that Starbreeze has slowly introduced with movie trailers.

Above is the latest trailer featuring Heather. Do not let her go wrong. Heather is a ruthless bitch, which is precisely what I would like to see on a resume during the zombie apocalypse. The trailer was accosted by three other survivors while collecting supplies. She brutally murdered one (in self-defense of course) and seriously injured another before being expelled unconscious and left for dead by the third.

After coming to Heather, she finds her two surviving assailants in the alley who are dealing with wounds. Shooting a flare, she throws a crowd of zombies and locks the door in front of the driveway. The thug who threw her begged her to give him the key.

"Buy it," she said, indicating the provisions they stole from her.

The raider is initially reluctant but eventually gets rid of the backpack, but instead of handing him the key, Heather drops it at the door, but within range and says, "Good luck . "

Ruthless - just like the comic.

The other three characters - Aidan, Maya and Grant have already been featured, but we've put their trailers below in case you missed them.

Even though the game is an FPS in the soul, it will contain basic elements. Each protagonist has unique abilities and a backstory that will allow them to excel in particular roles. For example, Maya has a history as a nurse, so she could serve as a healer.

Developers will have a booth at E3 where they will be able to have gameplay images and more details, including a specific release date. Right now, the launch window is Fall 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on Steam for PC.
