Something to Hope: Stranger Things is one of the hottest original series of Netflix. A book deal is quite logical since it allows Netflix to take advantage of the popular IP while allowing fans to explore backstories that are not completely examined in the show.
Netflix is working on a series of books based on the popular original Stranger Things series, according to a recent report by Deadline.
The first two by-products of the transaction will be accompanying books. The aptly named Stranger Things: The world turned upside down: The official companion of Behind-The-Scenes and an untitled gift book offering advice, wisdom and warnings from the Stranger Things world to young readers will arrive this autumn. re said.
Next spring, fans will receive a prequel Things novel written by Gwenda Bond. On Twitter, the author said the book will focus on Eleven Terry's mother and her involvement in the MKUltra program.
According to Deadline, the books will initially be launched in partnership with Del Rey Books, Random House Children's Books, Penguin Random House Children's UK and Cornerstone Publishing. Audiobook versions are also in progress, according to the publication.
The third season of Stranger Things is already in production. It should be in the summer of 1985, but it will focus on a dark mystery involving a popular lifeguard at Hawkins Community Pool and give a break to Will Byers. "We are not going to get Will through hell for a third season in a row," executive producer Shawn Levy said in an interview earlier this year.
